Missing Recordings
- Verify the recording was set properly.
Auto Recording Turn on the receiver and tune it to a channel. After you have watched a live program for a few seconds, you can use the remote control PVR buttons as follows:
- Press the PAUSE button to pause the program. On the TV screen, the receiver displays the length of time the program has been paused. Press this button again to go back to watch the program.
- Press the REVERSE button to move back rapidly through the program. Press this button multiple times to move back at faster speeds. There are a total of 4 speeds: 4x, 15x, 60x, and 300x.
- Press the FORWARD button to move ahead rapidly through the program. Press this button multiple times to move ahead at faster speeds. There are a total of 4 speeds: 4x, 15x, 60x, and 300x.
- Press the PLAY button to watch or resume watching a program. Also, press this button to cancel forward or reverse operations.
- Press the SKIP BACK button to skip back 10 seconds in the program.
- Press the SKIP AHEAD button to skip forward 40 seconds in the program. You can not go ahead into a part of the program that has not yet been broadcast.
- Press the VIEW button to go to "Live" programming.
Important: If using PVR functions to record a show, menus and changes in TV volume will not be recorded. If recording a program with Dolby Digital, the recording will also provide such audio. When any one of the PVR buttons is pressed, the receiver will display a small matching symbol on the Right-Center of the TV screen.
On-Demand Recording
- Turn on the receiver and tune it to your desired channel
- At the start of a program, press the Record button on the remote
- If you have watched the program from the beginning or up to one hour after it has started, you can still record the entire program. Press Reverse to rewind to the start of the program, the point at which the channel was changed or up to one hour (whichever comes first) then press Record.
- When the program ends, press the remote control Stop button to stop recording
Important: On-Demand Recording requires you to manually stop the recording by pressing the STOP button. The program will not stop recording by itself.
If on-demand recording needs room to record a new event, it will record over its oldest "unprotected" recorded event(s) to make room. If every program is protected and there is no more room to record an event, it will not be recorded.
Manual Recording
- Press the Menu button on your remote to enter the Main Menu screen
- Select the Timers option
- Select Create
- Select the appropriate timer and frequency options
- Select the channel you want to record
- Select Protect Recording if you want to prevent this event from being recorded over
- Select Set Date/Time
- Enter the Start Time, End Time and Date
- Select Create Timer
